Neill Shaw has been in the financial industry since 2006 and is a member of The London Institute of Banking & Finance. He is the Pension Transfer Specialist at Pocock Rutherford & Company. Highly skilled in advising clients on financial matters, Neill holds the DipFA, CeLTCI and AF3 qualifications and is a member of the Personal Finance Society.
Neill predominantly advises clients on Pensions and Investments. He guides his clientele to understand pensions complexities, specifically whether the benefits of retaining a final salary scheme with its guarantees outweigh the flexibility and other advantages of alternative options. In addition, Neill advises on how careful planning minimises the inheritance tax liability and protects against risks of long-term care funding.
Neill provides reassurance by facilitating clients how to best afford to retire comfortably. He takes into account their personal circumstances to build something unique for them.
“My role is to provide high quality investment advice to clients who want to grow their wealth, or who require it to provide an income. I work hard to know my clients so that I understand their financial goals and risk tolerance. Thereby, I have the best chance of delivering a first-rate advisory service. I enjoy seeing how my advice has placed my clients in a stronger financial position over time.”
Neill loves to travel and regularly visits relatives in France. Happily married to Estelle, they have three children. Weekends see Neill coaching Tag rugby for 40 children, including his own.
